Last updated: June 2026

AwkwardFix is operated from Texas, USA. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over it. We’ve written it to be readable — not buried in legalese. If you have questions, email us at hello@awkwardfix.co.

1. Who we are

AwkwardFix is a digital product business selling workplace communication guides. References to “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to AwkwardFix.

Our website is awkwardfix.co. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at hello@awkwardfix.co.

2. What information we collect

We collect only what we need to operate the site and fulfill orders:

  • Email address — collected when you subscribe to receive a free guide or complete a purchase. Used to deliver your guide, receipt, and any support responses.
  • Purchase information — your transaction is processed by PayPal. We receive confirmation that a purchase was made. We do not see, store, or process your payment card details at any point.
  • Usage data — basic, anonymous data about how visitors use the site, collected via Google Search Console. This does not identify you personally.
  • Cookies — standard cookies set by WordPress and our hosting provider for basic site functionality. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.
3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes only:

  • To deliver your purchased or free guide and send your order confirmation
  • To respond to support requests you send us
  • To send occasional product updates — only if you have not unsubscribed
  • To understand how the site is being used so we can improve it

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. We never have and never will.

4. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate the site:

  • PayPal — payment processing for all purchases. PayPal processes transactions and we receive delivery confirmation. We do not store your payment details. Their privacy policy is available at paypal.com.
  • Amazon SES — email delivery service used to send guide downloads and transactional emails. Emails are sent via our self-hosted Sendy installation. Their privacy policy is available at aws.amazon.com/privacy.
  • Google Search Console — anonymous site performance and search data. No personal data is collected through this tool.
  • Spaceship — our web hosting provider. Standard server logs may be retained for security purposes.
  • Cloudflare — CDN and security service. Standard traffic data may be logged for performance and security purposes.
5. Email communications

When you request a free guide or complete a purchase on AwkwardFix, your email address is collected to fulfill your order. We may use your email address for two purposes:

Transactional

Receipts & delivery

We do not add your email address to any third-party marketing list. We do not sell or share your email address with anyone.

Purchase records may be retained for legal and accounting purposes in accordance with applicable law.

8. Children’s privacy

AwkwardFix is intended for working adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
